Timothy B. Bitler, Jr. was born and raised in Berks County and returned home to practice law after graduating from Gettysburg College in 2013 and Villanova School of Law in 2016. Mr. Bitler has worked at the Law Offices of David S. Sobotka in a variety of roles for the last five (5) years. This work experience gave Mr. Bitler a thorough understanding of family law and estate practice in Berks County.
In addition to his experience with the Law Offices of David S. Sobotka, Mr. Bitler worked for several years at Bitler, Dougher & Rice, located in Gibraltar, and Kline & Nadirov in Reading. Mr. Bitler has also served as a panel member for the Berks County Bar Association Family Law Case Update which provides practicing attorneys with continuing legal education credits.
Mr. Bitler’s practice areas include divorce, child custody, support, protection from abuse, termination of parental rights, adoptions, guardianships, estate planning and administration, and juvenile dependency. Mr. Bitler is an ardent advocate for his clients and prides himself in custom-tailoring strategies for each individual based on client goals. He also attempts to resolve legal disputes in the most efficient manner possible without sacrificing results.
In his free time, Mr. Bitler is a novice beekeeper and musician.
